Sending Emails
There are 5 different sections to sending emails. 1. The "To" box 2. The "CC" box 3. The "BCC" box 4. The "Subject" box 5. The Main box 1. The "To" box is where you type in the e-mail address of the person(s) you want to send the e-mail to. Example: [email protected] All e-mail addresses have an '@' sign between the chosen ID (in this case it is 'user') and the domain (in this case it is 'h2g2.com). 2. If you want to send copies of the e-mail to several people, then the "CC" (Carbon Copy) box comes in useful. Type in the e-mail addresses of the people you want to send copies to. If it is more than one, the email ad's must be seperated by a ';'. E.g. [email protected];[email protected] 3. The "BCC" (Blind Carbon Copy) box is for the same purpose as the "CC" box except that the the person you are sending the e-mail to can't see the people whom you are sending a copy to. 4. The "Subject" box is where you type in a brief heading to your email. This gives the receiver an indication of what the e-mail may be about. Basically its a title. 5. The main box is where your actual message, html, image, etc. goes. This is the largest box and is where the actual body of the email goes. -->AnandConversations
