I've actually voted for the first time ever in a general election! I just hope it'll count. The worrying thing is that a postal vote is actually a lot more interesting that the real thing, as long as you've done that once. And I was 21 before I did that.

Discworld and ie

I got the new Discworld book today. Only 9 quid including p&p. Then, of course, I'm going to get it signed (cos the next town is just so far away). Haven't read it due to extreme case of spending the next couple of weeks on (non-existant due to typhoon (its a better excuse than leaves, at least)).
And why, oh why, does internet explorer think occasionally that I only want to go back one page? And why does egroups show up in the history. And The Bill forum isn't working. Aaaahh! Its enough to make you want to throw the computer out the window (and yes, it does fit).

None frankly

I'd just like to point out how much I hate TWM. If you've ever travelled on one of their buses, you'll know what I mean.
Haven't been to h2g2 for ages, cos its crap, and slow. But I see its changed. I just can't stand the excitement myself.
And I'm only here cos I'm bored.

busy

Four weeks into term and I am ridiculously busy. This is actually a good thing. It stops me having time to think for a start. That is a bad thing.
This term I am going to go further North than I ever have before. First, I am going to Nottingham for a BUSA Fencing match, then, 10 days later, I will be off to Sheffield for the ZZ9 AGM.
