I am a postgraduate research student at Cardiff University in South Wales, U.K. My interests include Problem Solving Environments for parallel and distributed computer systems ( my research), Java programming, The V IMproved text editor, Science Fiction of all types and 80's music. My nickname "Scatt" is a throwback to my days at junior school, it comes from "Scatty Matty". That was a long time ago, I hasten to add, but it has stuck with me.
