Quite possibly the rainiest city in Europe. This however is compensated by the number of superb drinking establishemnts especially among student areas. Tip for foreigners visiting Manchester: simply hang around one of the Universities for acouple of hours a week. It doesn't matter how weird you look or talk, you will fit into the population perfectly and will soon witness what the population calls "Student Life" which seems to involove doing very little work, being given money by their government and spending a lot of time imbibing alcohol.Conversations
