St John the Blasphemist
I am the self-appointed Saint of Blasphemy.
St John the Blasphemist's Day is April 2 & is recognised by sombunall Discordian sects. From April 1 to April 3, the Festival of Blasphemy takes place. This is a time when you can blaspheme to your heart's content. This does not necessarilly mean blaspheming against christian beliefs (though this is strongly encouraged), but anything you can think of.
Some examples are:
Telling any Yobbo Australian that Cold Chisel would be a much better band if it was just Ian Moss singing & not Jimmy Barnes.
Pointing out to Feminist Activists (male or female) that Germaine Greer & Frank Zappa were good friends (she says this in the documentary on her book 'The Whole Woman'.
Wearing a George W. Bush Fan Club t-shirt to a Socialist Democrat or Democratic Socialist (or any other 'left wing' group) meeting.
Anything you want if your name is Donald Trump.
