Central Pennsylvania
This is truely an odd place among those I've visited on this world. Religious wars have played a major role in defining history on this planet, and this region is far from exempt. What is notable is the choice of religion. Most of the really big ones here have to deal with some fella getting killed or spanked or spoken to by a hallucination, a cup of coffee or a divine being, but in Central Pennsylvania the religion of choice is American Football. You must either know the sport in its whole, or worship a "Nittany Lion", lest you be soght down by an angry mob and beaten. Evidence of this was most recently see just last weekend, when over 65000 people descended on the area for a spring match where the home team played _itself_!Conversations
