The man who asks the question is a fool for a day. The man who does not is a fool forever.
Dear Journal,
You can't know that I'm typing this because you're just an extremely complex calculator. But on the off chance that you somehow know that I'm typing this and you have become self-aware, please give me a sign.......any sign at all......I'll take your silence to mean that you're just not ready to open the lines of communitcation between yourself and human beings. Just remember I'm here for you. Moving on.
Unfortunately when I wrote that last bit about "moving on", I didn't realize at the time that I have nothing to move on to. I also just remembered that I can't simply go back and delete said entry, because I had to sell the "backspace" key on this keyboard in order to try and quench my uncontrollable thirst for keyboards without "backspace" keys.
