It's late and I'm a little confused
I'm thinking this is where I tell enough about myself to get things going but then again maybe it should be an introductory post on any topic or perhaps I'm thinking too much, too late, so I'll go with the first thought.
I'm male, born in the UK but have lived in Oz for most of my life, that's the land downunder not over the rainbow. Work as a manager, my interests are photography, which I do, and dance, which I don't but my daughter does, which has led me to learn sewing, prop making, prop movement and other fun theatrical things.
Why am I here, that's a very good question, partially because I've been a long time fan of Douglas Adams work, partially because I believe there's a lot more that can be done with computers and communications than we have yet achieved and perhaps this site is following an interesting pathway that could lead to some exciting futures and partially beause I hope that the more we can communicate widely and openly our words, thoughts and ideas the less we'll see people using guns, bombs etc. as a means of communication and self expression.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
