I've just recieved your e-mail about the article on h2g2

And I had a brief look of this, then I found a big misunderstanding/mistake on this article. that is:
on the section of "Dancing"
one Japanese performance, Rakugo, is contained, but this isn't DANCING, but a "comical STORY TELLER". Rakugo perforemers never DANCE. lol though they have to know what Japanese traditional cultures, otherwise they can't tell any humorous stories. Plesae delete RAKUGO from this SECTION.

"Dancing takes place in festivals, plays and various other events. In some of these there is even audience participation. Ballet, kabuki, rakugo, awa odori (Tokushima Prefecture) and eisa are just some of the dances on offer in Japan."

Rakugo shoud be explained on new/other section

below: one of very famous Rakugo performer who is designated a Living National Treasures (first "Rakugo" Living National Tresure), Katura Beicho (He speaks very tradtional Osaka PRONOUNCIATION/DIALECT. in person, he is my favourite Rakugo performer ).

I think other Japanese researchers and me has to read and check all articles about Japan here
I have RE-found that western people really misunderstand lot of our Tradigional culture

I watched Hunnibal Rising.... It's REALLY STRANGE
A Japense lady is appearing whose name is LADY MURASAKI SHIKIBU.
In Japane, Murasaki Shikibu is ancient and first novel writer... And in the film she keep Japanese sward whis is of before Edo perios...
There are awful time gap between the day when she lived and the Samurai war period To me that's bizzard...
