er... hi. this is farlander, and i believe i have an article with you guys: 'small talk in the microbial world' - just found out this morning when i found the article pending. i'm not really sure whom i'm addressing, but hello, nice to be working with you. i'm just curious... i've never had the team edit my stuff before... does the h2g2 editing team get random articles the way sub-eds do? (i ask this because i'm dastardly paranoid and think that i have maybe broken a house rule or something and am about to be punished severely or something )
in any event, thanks again for editing my article. you *may* want to add a no.5 (it's my mistake, i know - i have a no. 4 and a no. 6, but the no. 5 is missing. it's the 'i've got a gene i know you'll like' section). ta.

Farlander, please do not fear, you are not breaking any house rules.
As for the rest, best wait until someone more inclined towards editing pops up

Dear Farlander,
Anna here What's the A number of the entry? I've looked about for it, but I suspect the title may have changed...
(just read your microbes - the good they do entry, great stuff. I'm now a huge fan of the little chaps )

I'm the lucky editor on this one, Farlander. Caught that one, cheers.
Thanks for another smashing entry!

would you believe it if i were to tell you that i had absolutely *no idea* that the editors themselves edited articles? er, ok, let me rephrase that... i thought that editors only got round to looking at articles after the subeds were done with them, i never knew that they were involved in the primary editing process as well! one learns a new thing every day at hootoo...
crazy man: many thanks!
anna: the article's at A1063559. and yes, the microbes are such nice little critters, aren't they? shame on pasteur for giving them a bad name!
jimster: thanks for editing the article! (and don't worry, these aren't infectious)
Key: Complain about this post
