I had to substitute half of the Tomitillios with green tomatoes today.
(Welcome to the "sunny south"!) It was still good....but next time, there will be NO substitutes!

Ya' know.....I've used the phrase "de nada" all my life. My father picked it up from the men who worked for him in Albequerque.
Can't convince anyone that it roughly translates to "you're welcome". That included my high school Spainish teacher. She insisted on literal translation! Oh well.
Refreshing to here someone outside my family use it!

That's what I told my Spanish teacher.......she couldn't get away from the point that de meant "of"! Oh well.....too many years ago to matter now!
