Hello :-) You don't seem to get out much here on h2g2 island. I thought I would invite you over to Lil's Atelier. The assembled crowd is best described as cultured geek. For some reason I thought you might like it there. Lil will be thrilled to see you. I might not be around much though because I am going back into hospital tomorrow. Here's the link. http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F38024?thread=133935

I can see you lurking, you know . At the Salon ATM we are discussing Douglas Coupland books and pumpkin pie recipes.

Hello
Lets just face it I am absolutely crap.
You will normally find me on site as I am looking around to see how things work, but I haven't really started posting yet. Sorry!!!
How are your lego robots coming along?

Amy is still in one piece physically but she appears to have mental problems (!). She never really recovered from the removal of her batteries on the way to Germany and several colleagues let their sproglets loose on her over the summer break.
Please drop into the atelier if you haven't already done so. Everyone is so looking forward to your arrival.

Don't worry yourself about it mate
It can be very intimidating this site, even knowing that everyone is friendly breaking out into the H2G2 world - either as a new person or from the regular haunts can be hard.
Just enjoy it.

Hi there, Dharmesh.
I lurked for a whole year before I got up the nerve to post. I eventually discovered that researchers don't bite, not very hard, anyway.

Hallo there!
Hmmmm... you know, there's a 'Un-Official h2g2 Lurker' symbol that you might use on your user page - only, you're not un-official, of course... hmmmm.... *makes slight changes to GuideML tag*
