I met up with a couple of old friends for a drink yesterday in Soho. Turns out that one of them works next door to you! (At least I think so - he said he's next to TDV and works in Covent Garden - or is h2g2 in a different building?) He works for a company called 'Alibi', but he says you may know them better as 'Mongolian Barbecue', that being the most prominent sign on the building their office is in...

He works in film. I'm never entirely sure what he does (and it seems to change on a regular basis - as far as I can tell you start as a runner in the film industry and then attempt to bubble up the hierarchy in the direction of the job you actually want). I think their company specialises in getting funding together for films - kind of like a venture capital firm that only works in the movie industry.
Seems to be a good kind of a job if you like name dropping.
