Hurry up and wait

That does not work!!!!!!!! I have been going round in circles for 2 weeks!!!!!!
My brother came by tonight and he tried and he is brilliant with computers but he also could not get it to work. He thinks we will have to get another e/mail address set up and is going to ask one of his friends about it as he has 2 e/mails.
Not unless you know someone else to ask??????? 8smiley - sadface

I'm pretty sure the deal at h2g2 is one email address can only be used by one researcher - each researcher needs their own addysmiley - smiley

Ok - so each of you register using their own email address - when the registration email for each user arrives you should keep it & use the registration link in it to login. You can even bookmark/favourite each of the ones for the 3 users.

If you don't want to use the email links you can go to http://www.h2g2.com/register.cgi & enter your email address once you've registered. This is also where the new users should register.

hope it helps

The simplest thing to do is to buy two new computers and have two more phone lines put in. Then everyone is happy and everyone can be on Aitchtu Jeetu at the same time.

No, surely the *simplest* thing is to buy three more computers - one each for the other two researchers, and have the third one as a server. Then simply buy an ethernet hub, and run DHCP and automatic dial out with some internet connection sharing scheme on the server. (Various approaches for doing this exist.)

Then anyone can come in, plug their laptop into your house network, and get instant access to h2g2 with no further fuss.

(Or is it only my house that's like this? smiley - smiley )

I'm 52. Does that make me the oldest person here? Is there a forum for the almost moribund?
