Hmmmmm..... where exactly did you hear it? maybe it would give me some clues....

It's a town's name near where I went to college...It is allegedly a Welsh name for "coal stream" or "coal brook" or "coal creek"....

Well, to be technical, it should be "The coal stream/brook/creak"
Nant does mean small watery thing, but i'm not sure about the glo meaning coal, i'll have to check it up. Don't see anything wrong with that though
