Brilliant entry!
The Running of the Bulls was featured on ESPN the other day and I astounded my family by knowing all about the event from reading your entry.
One thing...
Did you do it yourself or were you just a spectator?
The television announcers went on and on about the sounds of the event and some subsonic rumble that you only feel in your guts. They also said the smell was hellish.
But great read!

I have never attempted the run myself but I have seen it on several occasions. It is tremendously exciting, and although it is foolhardy, people know the risk they are running by participating. 
I'm really glad it was useful... Yay!
