It's OK, I had a note from the Ed's concerning the title. I think I've experienced the Widget before, on Volans I think? I'm glad that the whole project has been completed, but a bit sorry that it's come to an end really. I've spent a lot of time getting to know some of the constellations a lot better. Lately I've been out with the binnies to look at some of the sights that's described... and it works. Frinstance, this last week, a couple of nights have been crystal clear and I've been looking at Orion in particular which just happens to be right in my best viewing 'window' in the back garden. I've just come in and ATM it is absolutely glorious out there. the Orion nebula is as clear as a bell just with naked eye, that's very rare in my part of the world. In the 'scope its magic. I've also managed M1 again. which is also very rare. It's also b***** cold and my fingers are numb.
