I'am an adorer the bass too.

Most music I listen to have super bass players.

I am also left-handed and I a have played drums (left-handed ofcourse) from the age of two.

Are you an engineer too ?

Yep, I'm a southpaw bass spanker. I always had a preference for this instrument, even before I knew what it sounded like. Also figure the last thing the world needs is another frustrated guitarist.

I have three currently functional: a neck-thru Westone 4-string that weighs slightly less than a house, a cheapo P-bass copy that's like a BMX, and a 5-string electro-acoustic that sounds like a piano sometimes & is ludicrous when put through an effects processor.

I also dabble with guitar & recently acquired a 5-string banjo on which I can play about 3 things: the theme from "Bagpuss", a passable rendition of "Journey of the Sorcerer" (the Hitchhiker theme) & "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica.

I'm not an engineer, except of my own downfall...

I am a complete southpaw - everything !!!!

I play the drums and, have done so from the age of two my parents tell me. I have a Sonor kit, with Zildjian cymbals.

My favourite music is jazz and rock - Weather Report, Led Zeppelin, Brand X, Tony Lavin Band to name a few. My favourite musician is the trajic Jaco Pastorius.

I am from Colombo, Sri Lanka. I am a civil engineer, studied in your beautiful country - England.

As a student I used to play drums for a group and got quite a lot of pocket money !!!

I am also a confirmed sports fanatic.

OK that's enough about me.

Do you play for a group? I am not too familiar with the manufacturers you mentioned - but, I remember the bass player in my group had a Ibanez (?)

My dream bass is an Ibanez 6-string. I've seen it for a price I like too!

Always wanted an Ibanez Jem777 guitar, the Steve Vai model, but they don't do them for cack-handers like me
