It's so hustle and bustle here..y'know..plus the smog..

I saw that on the news the other day, thought it was a thing of the past.Can't be good for people with breathing or heart conditions.

Not at all and it will get worse

fortunately I'm on the outskirts of the city here so it does'nt suffer so much.

Oh yus, still sore today but swelling is down a little. Hope you're ok, coping with the heat. It's awful clammy here just now, can't sleep much.

It's very muggy my fan does'nt seem to be doing much at all..

I find putting a 2 liter of bigger frozen bottle water in front helps, at least you get cold air for a while, seems to work well, just need to keep several on the go in the freezer!

It does work, I picked the idea up off the BBC's in house GP that goes on the Breakfast prog!! I was skeptical at first must admit, but as I say, it does make a difference.

There is one consolation this last 2 weeks or so, I've had very little laundry to do!!Not worn a lot!!

It's amazing what tips you can pick up..have to try that one

The other one my younger brother told me about, though I have'nt done it, is he's frozen a hot water bottle and wrapped in a towel, put it in the bed for an hour or so to cool the bed prior to sleep!!

We have been known to be inventive us 5 lads!! Much to the horror of our mother sometimes!

Actually that's the difference with youth today, when we were kids we made our own fun, like making go-karts using old pram wheels, bearing in mind we lived on a 1 in 10 hill, used to scream down it, err, no brakes!!

No i think it's great we were the same, having brothers i used to get be very adventurous shall we say

we found ourselves sort of pairing off, as kids, when sister was alive she tagged along with eldest brother, then me and next eldest then the youngest 2. just seemed a natural progression somehow. Problem was our mischief got trademarks then, whenever we were in trouble mother always knew which 2, by the nature of the trouble or hassle!
