Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive Started conversation Feb 12, 2002
Hi
I know this is late... but I'm a busy ant, you know how it is.
The Hall Effect article currently on the front page, edited by you. When it was in Peer Review, I had much to say about scientific conventions regarding units. In particular, units should not have capital letters. Neither should words like current and voltage.
My comments appear to have been ignored and I'm very distressed about it because my name is now on the article. I am a scientist; I wouldn't want people to think that my grasp of conventions was that of an inattentive schoolchild.
Please do something about this. And, while you're about it, correct Physicist to physicist in accordance with the standard editing rules and check the spelling of Stormer. I think it should be Störmer.
Cheers
Amy the fussy Ant
ps the beardy scientist bit is sexist.
