He has,and the results were generally not good. There seems to be some compromised function of his valves, and also some blockage of his bypass grafts.. He is now on track to get a correcting op within the next few weeks. My guess is he is worried, but he is keeping calm about things.I will attempt to do the same for now as well.

Sorry to hear that. How long ago did he have his by-pass then? They're usually good for 10 to 15 years with all the right diet/medication etc.
I wish him all the best. You take care of yourself, you know where your friends are anytime ok?

Hello..I was glad to see you here yesterday, had been a while you know.. I hope that your course work is all in order..Also,I hope the surgery for your cataracts goes smoothly and with as little discomfort as possible.
Erm.. I read what you posted in "Yikes II"..I shall take the request to heart..mainly by just keeping my posting in order..besides,I don't sound goodin real life, anyway!!!
Be safe and I will see you soon, hopefully!!!

Hi MS, part 2 of my course commences from 10th Oct. Going to be interesting for first 4 to 6 weeks or so as it depends what the end result of the cataract op is. I may need glasses changing again back to reading strength rather than distance so will have to wait and see. (no pun intended, )
Good to hear things are on the mend with your mum and dad.

Well my friend,I hope things work out with your vision...you have much to do, and you need command of all of your senses!!!
By the way..I have taken to heart what you said concerning "blue" language on "Yikes II" I must admit that I am just as guilty as the rest of the newer crowd...I will straighten up and fly right...
Be well..I will hope to see you soon!!!

Well enough..though I must admit that I COULD really push myself a bit harder..but there are things in the air, such as my appeals process for disability benefits..by the way,I have seen a bit of the Tories plan for benefits conversion..I hope that they understand that they should not go too far..
I will keep looking for news of you and your progress!!!
Take care!!!

Hey there..great news about your ocular well being...
I know you won't mind reading specs..you have a much better set of eyes now,and you don't want to give 'em any irregular sort of strain now!!!
How's all else,course,..

Hi mate, all ok though I am some 4weeks behind on the course, hardly surprising but I should get a time extension due to the circumstances so not overly worried. The mad is fine, he's currently buried in the quilt on the bed. Next best thing to a hot water bottle.
How's things with you? Mum and dad doing ok?

It has been a few weeks since last bulletins, but at the time I have heard no news of fresh setbacks other than ones previously faced...
Dad recovering well, save for recurring skin rashes, and Mom having new amounts of strength as of last email from sister.
The general atmosphere in my Mom's household could use a lot of work as far as supportiveness goes..tensions between sister and Mom's domestic partner have been boiling for awhile, and I think my sister had enough..she has moved, from what I know...

Hmmm, that's not so good. Nowt worse than that sort hassle with health issues to deal with as well. Fingers crossed it sorts soon. Perhaps some space and time may help heal both physical and emotional wounds eh?

Could be..
One thing for sure..I shall stay away from dispute...my involvement in any sense would most likely exacerbate things.

I tend to steer clear of hassles these days, I now put my own health and well being to the fore. If that makes me selfish in the eye's of some, tough, I've done more than my fair share of helping other's over the years.

On a lighter note, a piece of artwork I did on my Art for Life course is certainly doing the rounds. It's been in 3 exhibitions and is now at a fourth. For a Still Life, it sure is mobile.
