I have a question for you cheerful dragon !what do you mean with people that do not listen? Do they ask you to repeat what you´ve just said, or do they act diffrerent from what you ordered? or What?

I was referring to opinionated people who won't listen to anybody else. By that I meant that these people think that their opinion is right and that anybody else's opinion isn't worth listening to. For example, I once got into a discussion (well, that's how it started) about gun use and gun law in the UK. I said that I felt that it was possible to have a gun for sporting purposes (e.g., target practise) without any aggressive intentions. A man I was working with stated categorically that anybody who owned a gun would use it on a person, given a chance. This man would not accept that there is a world of difference between shooting at a paper target (which I have done) and shooting at a human being (which I could only do in self defence). (I would never own a gun, BTW.) If this was the only example of him not listening to anybody else's opinion, I'd let it go at that. However, this man held fixed opinions on everything, regardless of anybody else's experience of the matter.

So that's what I mean by people who won't listen. Hope this helps.
