Home & Transport
Research is needed into the reasons why Josephine or Joe Public has voluntarily inflated home prices. Is there a great conspiracy? This subject could open up many avenues of thought, let alone a lot of laughs, let’s face it the concept of escalating prices forcing you to pay more out of your income is very strange indeed. I’m thinking of selling my car which I use mainly to get to and from work. The reason I’m considering selling it is due to the prohibitive costs involved in running expenses etc. Stop working that might be the idea then I’ll cut my overheads, oh no forgot the mortgage!!!!! Anyway I’ve thought through an alternative transport scenario, I’m going to procure a donkey, any road rage maniac I encounter it’s just an EOR and the Devil can take the hindmost. I can imagine it now riding to work and indulging in an intellectual conversation with my Donkey. Me “What do you think about The Common Agricultural Policy” Donkey “EOR” Would you get charged for taking your Donkey to work? If a lot of people used Donkey power would straw and oats be taxed? Could it be that senior management would feel under threat from an imagined coup from the car park? Oops that’s rule number one broken, however I plead mitigating circumstances, look at how I addressed Public in the first paragraph, exemplary political correctness :-} Parting Shot I live in a village where there is one bus a day. This is a real pain if you want to get back. Regards to all Doug %-}Conversations
