Hi there!
In the time I've been on h2g2, a lot of new people have signed up and joined the volunteer schemes.
There was a time when I knew everyone by name, but that's impossible as this grand experiment continues to thrive.
So I've decided to pay a visit to each Researcher in the various volunteer schemes and say 'hello'.

Hey Jimi,
I have the same problem - I don't know half the subs anymore and sometimes I don't even have the time to keep up with the ones I do know.
Married life is great and we have a bit of good news to impart - we will be purchasing our house at the end of November. It's only taken 6 months but that's the British housing market for you!
How are you getting on?

Thanks for the Sub-edit on Lucy the elephant. Wasn't that a silly topic for a Guide entry? I noticed that New Jersey didn't have any entries so I figured I'd better do one that would stand out.
Did you follow that link and see a picture of the old girl? Isn't she the most hideous thing you've ever seen?

Well it's a 3 bed semi, 1930's and it has a great address because it is called the Pentagon!

Any reason it's called that? Sounds like it might make an interesting Guide Entry - presuming you don't want Researchers showing up in your garden in the middle of the night.

It's not intersting or posh really - it's just the name the gave to about a dozen houses built in a pentagon shape around a roundabout. Still like the sound of it though!
So what did you get up to on your birthday apart from surfing h2g2?
