I thought I might jump on the band wagon and start my own conversation with you.
So how have you been? I've missed you. Sometimes I get a feeling in a thread that you should be there giving it your old touch.
I hope things go well for you, and don't be too much of a stranger.
Congratulations Ginger

I'm trying to keep up to date but am thinking of changing my name to Ginger the Headless Chicken! I looked for you just before I went on holiday but you seemed to have disappeared for a while. I hear congrats are in order for the new permanent job and I hope things have improved now!
I meant to email you and Fenny the day we got back rather than just letting you find out from the front page but as soon as the news broke it was like this thing had the momentum that could launch it into space!
Things are just starting to quieten down now but as this may be the last weekend in 3 months Doug and I get to spend completely alone I think we may disappear off for the weekend to take advantage!
It does feel weird sometimes not being part of some of the conversations but I will get back into it proper next week I promise! Nice to hear from you and thanks for dropping by!
Ohh! And was there any gossip while I was away?
Congratulations Ginger

I'm glad to hear from you. I totally forgot that you were going away. But not to worry, you're back.
Time alone with you and Doug is going to be really important, so I suggest that you don't worry about h2g2, it seems to be holding up really well atm. (I even got my Tim Tams entry accepted)
As for goss, I am not into that sort of thing

Congrats to you too then! That must have been while we were in Italy! Sods law said that's when my articles had to be accepted too so I didn't even get to see them mentioned on the front page on the same day!
Congratulations Ginger

Ah well, never mind then. At least we started to get some form of response from h2g2. I have kept the faith in that they would do some fantastic things, as well as start getting through the huge list of entries.
Congratulations Ginger

I've perked up a bit now but to be honest most of our time is spent writing stuff for our own web site which will hopefully be launched soon! They made some major changes didn't they? I am very impressed. My congratulations to Mr Lynn and the team if they happen to read this ever!
So how is the job?
Congratulations Ginger

Yes they have made quite a few major changes.
As for the job, I have not started it yet. That happens in just over a weeks time.
So my I am doing very little at work at the moment.
Congratulations Ginger

Ah that explains the increased presence on the system! Are you nervous?
