So when's the big day? Is it going to be in the UK or in the USA?
Arrghhhh! Congratulations!!!
Classic Krissy Posted Aug 22, 2000
April 30th. It's two years to the day since we first met. I even wrote an article about it here! ( http://www.h2g2.com/A46865 )
The first one is going to be in Maryland on the 30th (which is a Monday). There will probably be one in London on the following Friday, but both the weddings are going to be very very small. Andy is moving here to the US and I have just discovered that international weddings are INSANE things. Pretty soon we should have the place picked out (actually, I already have it picked out, but I have to convince him that it will be the right place)
I have my dress already and we're already planning two engagement parties. My life is just a swirl of joy at the moment.
I'll do it again:
I have perma-grin.

I can't believe he's decided to move here, but there you go. He's done it.

Coolness
Congrats and good luck
As far as international weddings go I have a little experience
having arrived in Pittsburg on saturday, driven 6 hours to "home" on sunday on monday morning my sweetie and I find ourselves sitting outside the courthouse at 7:30 waiting for them to open at 8
8:00 get license (fill out a few forms show passport and Birth cerificate)
8:30 walk across street to mayors office (with two witnesses)
9:00 married by mayor
10:00 Bob Evans for breakfast and farewell to witnesses then off on honeymoon (to a four year old castle in the Hocking Hills)
then of course the battle with INS began tedious and long but we are getting there, Hope all goes well with you and yours
Arrghhhh! Congratulations!!!

Thank you. I think we have the whole INS thing as covered as we possibly can. If I start getting anxious we may hire a lawyer. I figure 8 months is the perfect amount of time as everyone says it takes around 6 months to get the fiancee visa.
*crosses several fingers*
