Hi Anna,
Hope this post finds you well.
Just spotted a guide entry about Toddler tantrums, and thought it might deserve a place on the parent a child group page.
Here is the link A762626
How are things with you and yours? Dom settling into his new home ok? I'm a bit worried about how my son will react once we move. It's gotta be quite traumatic for the littluns to be uprooted like that.

Dear Simon,
Thanks for reminding me about that link, I've put it in Dom keeps waking up in the middle of the night again. I think he's getting cold as he keeps wiggling out from under the covers. What to do?!

Two suggestions for you.
One is to put an extra vest or sleepsuit on him, so he doesn't get cold, then just use a very thin blanket on his bed/cot.
The other way is to buy one of them sleeping bag things for kids.
I've never used one, but they look great. They are like a big coat at the top and a sleeping bag at the bottom. They do up like a sleepsuit, so kids cant wriggle out of them, but they can take them off if they want to. I've seen them advertised in the back of mother and baby magazines (why are there no father and baby magazines? )
You had him in a good sleep routine for a while, something must have changed to upset that, try and work out what it was. It could be the colder weather comming in, but once they get to sleep, the cold rarely wakes them up.
Has Dom's food routine or diet changed at all? is he eating later in the evenings lately? sounds like he's still got some energy left when he goes to sleep and so he's waking up early.
Take care, and let me know how you get on mate.
Sweet dreams and peaceful nights
Si
