Writers' Anonymous
I don't know why I'm doing this. I told her it would be a waste of time, but of course she knows best. Write it down, she says, get it out of your system she says. Well, that's easy for her to say: she writes for a living. OK, so not exactly a living - her therapy sessions pay for that, but she writes professionally. About people like me. Difficult cases. It's not as if anyone will want to read it, I tell her. I mean, they won't will they? Better things to do with their time, I shouldn't wonder. That's up to you, she says. Sell yourself: 'sex it up' a little.
