About Books, h2g2 and Everything

Apparently I need to replace the previous text with something a bit more individual and entertaining to visitors, so the visitors are then able to leave messages.
So let's talk about me then.
I found out about this page when reading Douglas Adams' The Salmon of Doubt. He (Adams, not salmon) reffers to this page quite a lot and so, being the sort of curious little creature I am, I had to check it out. It's very interesting page. You can spend weeks online, reading interesting posts, finding out new things about Life, universe and Everything. And not thinking about anything else. The bad thing about this is of course when you check it out at work. You cannot just log off. And so you cannot do your work. Unless your work is somehow related to this page. (Mine unfortunately isn't.) Or unless you have a lot of leisure time. (Which sometimes I do). At home my network connection is shite. Dial-up, So, everything is slow. And it irritates me.
I love reading. I could read most anything. In fact i believe I would die if I couldn't read. Sometimes I read a book or two a day. Of course they need to be very interesting. So I forget about everything around me and become part of the book.
I need to do my work now. If there's anything you want to know, don't be afraid to ask. I won't bite. I promise. Oh, or maybe I will. evilgrin

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
