Are you in a carefree mood today Stray? There is a book called Anno Domini. It's about vampires.
Fell asleep in bath yesterday. Woke to being colder than I was before I got in it. Don't you just hate it when that happens. Had to get out, shivering like a wet dog. (No quips please) and rush to get dressed as it was time to start cooking. Der. Switched oven on, no gas (on meter, it had run out) Donned warm overcoat and ran to shop to charge card. Met gossipy friend. Got home, revised what we were going to eat so could cook quickly.
Watched James Bond last night. My goodness, how many corny lines can they cram into one film?
Got grandson all day today, he'll be here soon. Will be knackered by five. Plunged into a world of Spiderman, Bob the Builder and The Flowerpot Men. Knackered and burbling!
His favourite saying at the moment is crazy sandwich. He misheard his mum when she said lazy baggage!
Enough. I must go and get ready for my busy day.
Hugs to all. I'm in a huggy sort of a mood.

Why is it that a moment of relaxation has to be spoilt by one small thing like falling asleep? Spoils the whole effect! Never mind this evening after the rest of the tribe have been fed and watered try again!
My peaceful evening was shattered by a chatty neighbour selling poppies! She wanted to lecture me on the good things the RBL do, never mind I've been a member for 45 years! EEEKKKKK!!! Ho for some peace and quiet!

AAAAAaargh. When I got up it was 11.15am. Gor breakfast, tidied up, had another cuppa.
I have just logged on and it's still 11.18am. Thought I was stuck in a time warp there for a second or two.
Did anyone else forget?

It's that fleeting comidity we never seem to have enough of and which waits for no man, and which people are always trying to buy! It ticks, floats, flashes, dawdles, crawls, zipps, goes, etc etc by!

Spidey - I've just seen someone on a thread blabbing on about badgers being right wing, I'm now suffering from withdrawal symptoms...
Is it possible for you to resurrect the Badger Society again?

Nothing worse than an empty sofa Spidey! 'Cept perhaps an empty bed! Not that I'm making any offers in that direction you understand - just an observation. I'll be along to sample the sofa shortly if I may.
