So how many is 'many years ago'? My first time in Halifax area was spring-time of '77, routing point to military recruit training. More recent years have me dropping in for a week or two as a contracted guy for the military. Same job, different attire.

My father-in-law, 4 or 5 of his brothers, and many of their offspring were employed by mining and smelting in New Brunswick. And a lot of that is fading, brother-in-laws pondering futures. Stuff changes, eh?
