Hello Elektra,
The news is not good.
The cancer was at stage four, the cells were (are?), apparently, similar to ovarian though that's not where they're affecting.
Initial prognosis: 3 years, with luck.
Of course, our daughter is being checked out for susceptibility.
First session of chemotherapy was last Thursday then every three weeks for a while.
At the moment she does seem to be in fairly good fettle ... from the outside - she's a real trouper.
We're working out routines for handling the cycle of ups & downs we're expecting from the treatment.
I'm slowly coming round to being able to acknowledge it.
