I hope all the tests work out so they can figure out howto correct it easily. Think of both of you fondly.

Thanks for your thoughts, Elektra.
Last September she was in a collision at a known bad junction (now fixed, hopefully).
part of the treatment was to drain the left lung.
Last 2 - 3 weeks she's been low & I insisted on her seeing the doc ... into Chch as a day patient on Wednesday & they kept her in for two nights. Lots of scans & tests - and draining the same lung of more than 1.5litres of mucky water (horsepiddle for the hospital).
Then [carefully & gently]: "There are a few nodules elsewhere on your scans. Back next Wednesday please, while we try to see what they are."
Yes.
Her mother died of ovarian cancer and cells in the blood and in that horesepiddle seem to correspond.
Lots of advancements since then (60s) ... Some talk of 'management' ... but not very convincing.

Oh I am sorry. It sounds like it was a good idea to get her to hospital. Still keeping you both in mind down there.

Thank you, Elektra.
It will take some time to come to terms with it

You might want to contact Benjamin P Moore of the . Check out his carer archive for tips. Or drop him a personal message. I am not sure what his wife's chronic condition is. I think it might be an autoimmune problem, but he is pretty sensible and might be able to offer some tips on this.

Thanks Elektra, I'll bear that in mind (I have previously noted his writings, more than somewhat respectfully).
