Hiya Rod smiley - smiley
You asked in PR about the count of constellations, here's something I prepared earlier: A29617824 it's got the recommended, pending and edited constellations, and there's 10 in PR. I know Deke is working on some, and I have more in the pipeline.smiley - ok

Thanks for your interest and support, I really appreciate itsmiley - biggrin

Hi, GB. I've just posted to the serpent bearer, before seeing this.

I asked not from a particular interest in astronomy (casual interest, yes), more in a sense of awe at your project!

I don't know how anyone can't click on the APOD links I post and not go "Wow, get a load of that NGC-whatever"

I am even more impressed now, smiley - biggrin because if I can tempt someone who's not bothered about the subject to read my entries I must be bloody good!smiley - laugh

smiley - cheers

Come, come, GB. I said 'casual interest' which is (in my day was) a little short of full enthusiasm - not Not Bothered!

Bloody Good? Well, good enough...

Before moving home & over to Apple (losing my favs) APOD was first port of call - changing wall paper with special ones (sun's surface, earth at night...).
I joined the local astronomer's society but couldn't handle so many people waiting for me to refocus after losing the target. The lectures were good - some of them top flight (LaGrange points for one).

I might just go back to APOD.

So there.
