I want my epitaph to be, 'She wrote a lot.'
I love writing.
Seriously, I'm IN LOVE with writing. I write about everything that inspires me and I just can't seem to stop. Soppy stories make me cringe but when I begin to write a story in a sad frame of mind they just emerge as tear-jerkers. This isn't really what I'm like, thank goodness. Actually I'm quite a happy-go-lucky-type-of-soul. So WHY DO I DO IT? (Must enlist the ideas of my psychiatrist mate whom I meet in the pub twicw a week)
I'm a French teacher, 50 - and I live with my husband, 2 dogs and one cat. I ran a pub for a few years and discovered that there isn't a great difference between being a landlady and a teacher. In the end teaching won.
I've written 5 novels but haven't been published....yet. When I retire I will do everything I can to be published - but right now when I'm not working I'm writing. Think what a wonderful repertoire I'll have by the time I'm 60!
I don't know whether or not my work is good. I only know that I feel it's right.
I hope that Edna and Arthur will make you laugh out loud - even if you're not from the Black Country.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
