Kisses and Licks
Grr. I am angryeyes.I like bunnies.
I am angryeyes. I live in the special place. not a special place, The Special Place. In the special place there is a cottage. It is small and rustic looking on the outside. Inside it is quite big. There is a big hearth with a log fire, a huge battered oak table and comfy chairs off in an alcove. There is also a bathroom and the cooch room, which is filled with wild cooches.
I live in the cottage. So does sniffy. She's sort of my twin. We both look like kipper, except she looks like a sniffy kipper and I look like a kipper with angry eyes (and angry lips). Sniffy likes bears and bouncy things. There are other people who live in the cottage with us. Helaina is hooman shaped, like sniffy and me, but she's all white, with sharp teeth and she's made of bleach. She doesn't talk much and she only eats raw food. She's quite scary, but nice too. Tog is a duvet. Really a duvet. Tog is nice to cuddle up to. Pickver is a pickled onion. She likes vinegar a lot. She takes vinegar baths when she gets dirty from rolling everywhere. Sometimes she sloughs an outer layer. On top of the roof is a very large nest. Harpylicious lives in it. She's a harpy. She's hooman from the waist up, more or less. She doesn't wear any clothes. She has feathers made of metal that change colour and she can skreech louder than anyone.
Outside there is a garden. An orchard stretches almost all the way down to the bank of a pretty lake. In the orchard there is a big tree with a burrow in its roots. wupwup lives in the burrow. She's half bear and half bunnie. She's very boouncy and gets into mischief with mischief. In the middle of the lake there is an island where we all go for picknics on very hot days. Ther is also a waterfall, and a giant octopus who fishes people out when they fall in (usually that's wupwup, everyone falls in once in a while but she falls in more often). Shellfish lives in the lake. Shelfish is quite new. She's quite shy. Speckly lives in the lake too. She's a lobster. She's black and speckled, which is very important because it means that she isn't cooked.
Next to the house is a vegetable garden. There are lots of carrots and plants that have nice seeds. On the other side of the house there is a little shed. Duffly the apothecarbear lives in there and makes sooting ungents and tonics.
Behind the house there is a meadow, filled with interesting grasses that wave gently even when there's no breeze. The meadow is noncorn's. She's not a unicorn, she dosn't have a horn y'see. She's sort of like a faun. She's very proud and she always speaks in the third person. She's quite territorial about her meadow. Wupwup isn't allowed to go in there any more. She tends to flatten the grass. I argued with noncorn once. She wouldn't let my bunnies in. I told her she was mean and that my bunnies would only eat a little of her grass. She still wouldn't let them in and kipper had to make her in the end, but now that she knows that the bunnies will be good we're friends again. Littledragon lives in the meadow too. She's not very big, but she has lots of legs and tiny little wings. She flaps very hard and flies a little with them. There is a new person, who has just moved into the meadow. She's called ten-branch-antler-fruits-of-the-forest-moose. She's a moose and a mousse.
A little way away from the house is the sand pit. It's big and very hot because sunbeam shines down on sunflower very near by. The ostrich lives in the sand pit. She's very nice. She was rescued from an ostrich farm. She's terribly afraid of hatchets, so no axes of any kind are allowed in the special place. When she's scared she hides her head in the sand, even though other ostriches don't really do that. Her brain is smaller than her eye, but she's still quite clever. She loves seeds. The reptiles live in the sand pit as well. There is littlesnake, fattylizard the skinkskinkskink and fattyguzzler the gekgekgek. They all like to bask and eat insects. Tortiecat and tabbtycat live round there too. They alos like to play and bask in the sun.
There are lots of creatures in the special place. And people who visit sometimes. In the distance there are hills, further away still, there are mountains. Past the hills but not as far as the mountains there is a village. There is a steam train that takes us to the village when we want to go there. There are also woods and forests. We have lots of geography. It moves about quite a bit though.
