Rude? Not at all! Not on that thread, anyway
It was very strange when you 'revealed' the location, because I don't think I can have thought of that place for years, but it was exactly what reading your piece brought back to me.
Though I obviously don't have your powers of recall - my main memory was that slug! *Holds hands apart, then wider apart, to indicate a slug of badger-like proportions*
I missed you!

Yes, the whats wrong with h2g2 researchers..good for letting off steam and very funny when you get to read a backlog of other researchers dissin one anuffer...
Badger like proportions...wow...impressive. My nan used to leave cat meat out to entice those huge slugs....very icky but fascinating...
I'm so glad that people enjoyed reading the bracken text I have got such a great buzz from the replies , I was afraid that it might have a been too boring, after all, what is interesting to yourself might be quite a tedium for others.
I did post where my Cefn Coch was...where was yours?
I missed you!

Well, I don't know exactly where it was: school trip, you see. It must have been within day-out minibus distance from Llangollen - that's all I know.
And the writing was definitely not boring - I read the whole thing straight through without any attention wanderage whatsoever
I missed you!

oooh...thank you!
Llangollen - been there to the Eistedfford (can't recall how to spell it) a few times!
Key: Complain about this post
I missed you!
