Hello Trin,
just wanted to say that my post in the forum wasn't serious, but had no idea how to reply to your post without giving it much more importance than it actually had.
Hang on, that sounds as if your posting wasn't important
Oh well, you'll have to figure out what I mean.

Hello
I got what you meant
And I think I get what you mean now
And I think the phrase 'a little bit' was deliberate understatement, because he knew full well that I *would* enjoy it (by way of cheering me up/calming me down). Which I will. Indeed, I've already had a read... and I am

That's great, could have bored you to death - now that would have been the ultimate 'calming down' effect

Thank you kindly, Sir
PR was brilliant when it eventually took off, so I'm very happy with it.
Off to now, work tomorrow
Goodnight

Right, I think I've finished. And I did, indeed, enjoy it very much

The only thing I wanted to check with you - I put 'Brezel Bub' in italics throughout, so I thought the very last one ought to give the plural in German. Which would be 'Buben'? I think? Bearing in mind how very bad my German is?

Buben would be correct - in German. I'm really not sure about this, in one of my other entries, we had a idscussion about this, and the upcome was, to bend the German words to the English grammar, which is why I put Bubs. Let me just have a look whether it's pssible t use the singular, because Brezel Buben sjust sounds odd (come to think of it, you usually just talk about the Brezel Bub in general, I've never heard the plural used )
I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Trin Tragula Posted Nov 7, 2006
Actually, that could just be singular, if you'd prefer - that's just as good.

Yes, just had a look, I think singular should be ok, too.

h, and in the sentence:...the Handkäs mit Musik... we don't use the article in German, it's just 'Handkäs...' - any ideas whether to omit the article in English?
