Asteroids used to drive me bonkers - I was soooooo bad at it 
I used to like the old text adventure games too. Though those were fairly infuriating too.

I was pants too.
I liked the Monkey Island one on the Amiga. And then the Playstation came out and my eldest bro' bought lots of scary roleplaying games that I'd get stuck on and plead to him to get me to the next level.
