Thanks for posting a bit of support for me earlier in the English identity thread. Really I lost my temper about various remarks I kept coming across by bad luck in various threads moaning on about not being able to celebrate christmas and innuendo, that were just so tabloidy in nature. And some of the stuff earlier in that thread had annoyed me. Anyway I just snapped. That's what I'm like sometimes. Some people say they like me for my passionate nature but it sometimes get's me into all sorts of bother, especially with people with much calmer natures.

I do find hootoo difficult at times because people I know IRL seem so much warmer. There's lots of lovely people here too of course, and I can be a moody so and so.

Hey, no worries - that whole tabloid Britain thing puts my back up *instantly* (I mean, 'It's in the Cuurant Bun, so It Must Be True' - it frightens me coming across people who accept that ).

I'd pretty much given up on that thread at that point anyway: you'd already had a go, I seem to remember; Blicky had had a go; I'd had a go - there just wasn't going to be a 'sudden burst of reality' moment, I thought.
