I read on a posting that your a h.g wells fan, so am I! I thought i'd introduce myself and say Hi because i've never met a fellow well's fan before!

I must have done and I suppose I am, but I haven't actually read that much Wells: I just like what I have read 
There must be lots of Wells fans around though, given how many sci-fi fans there are - maybe they're just not aware of each other.
