Just to say I thought you looked good on tv.
Did not see your full story though as we were away so looking forward to your copy of the video from bbc.

Dear Margaret,
Proud? all this writing is your fault along with Rachael and Sarah. When they brought those questionnaires home all those years ago they really started something.
I can still see your face as you said "Dad we know absolutely nothing about you before we were born" I got the immpression you thought parents came out of a can labelled "Parents, they will look after your every need until you fly the nest" and I hope we did.
Mums old electric typewriter came out and I chipped my nail varnish trying to write something that would give you some idea of our lives pre kids.
You then threw in the second grenade by introducing me to BBC Peoples War and so started the flush of boring stories that finally got a TV crew up here in the wild north, we had to clean the cave of old animal bones and put our best skins and woad on that day as you well remember. So dear Margaret it is you they should blame for being bored out of their skulls.
I am proud of all my children and grandchildren you have all done so well. I would hope those men and women who gave up everything so we could have that freedom would be happy at what has been achieved through their sacrifice, I think they would be.
I have been told the full tape will be here sometime in June.
