Remember this?

Post 1

Film Guy Ernie

Hello again Frank:

Got up this morning with thoughts of my early years, and a tune, can you help; after 85 years I have forgotten most of it, but you or your buddies might recall it!

Redcar sunshine corner,
Oh it's jolly fine,
It's for children under 99,

All are welcome,
seats are free,
Recar sunshine corner is the place for me.

Best wishes, and love to all at Doggy,

Ernest Munson

Hi Ernest,
When I get up these mornings it is not with memory of songs but a burning thirst for my first cup of tea, two cups later and a slice of porridge with treacle and cream the brain springs back to life and then I think of old songs or what ever.
For my birthday last week after the white Rolls Royce, meal and party with my children and grandchildren I ended up with a new mobile phone. They ring or text me most mornings to see if it is time to read the will yet. The problem is the phone plays a heavy metal tune called "Thrash" and at the same time vibrates on earthquake mode, when it goes off I am deafened, half of Stockton too and the vibration in my pocket brings back long dead memories of something, I have forgotten what though, could you help me there at all?
I have just asked my wife one time dancer and keep fit adict until her late sixties if she knows the song and she sang it as you wrote it, the same two lines saying that was all. I will look through my Remember when Magazines and see if I can find the song having a feeling it has been discussed before.
I will get back to you, keep well and regards,
Frank.
