EPISODE 28 – Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered

Again we learn that Xander is still interested in Buffy:
Xander: “The only other person [besides Cordy] I’m interested in is…well…unavailable”
We find out Amy is doing witchcraft
The Spike/Dru/Angel triangle heats up when Angel gives Dru a hart from a ‘quaint little shop girl’ for valentines day, and she likes it more than the chain she received from Spike.
Xander and Cordy break-up and make-up in this episode, and Cordy finally stands up to Harmony and the others.
Near-Death #13 for Cordy!

EPISODE 27 – Phases

We meet Oz the werewolf in this scene 
Cordelia and Willow share some Xander-Talk!
We again get an insight into Buffy’s life during her conversation with the werewolf-hunter:
“ If that thing kills anyone – it’s on your head. I hope you can live with that”
Buffy’s response – “I live with that every day”
We learn that Larry is gay.
We realise that Xander still likes Buffy when he gives her the cliché punch on the arm.
Willow and Oz finally become a twosome.

EPISODE 26 – Innocence

We meet Angelus. My first impression is that I (shock horror) like his personality more than Angel (until he later starts taunting Buffy and her friends of course).
The rejection that Buffy receives from Angelus is like the rejection that can often come from relationships, right down to the offhand “love you too” that he speaks as he walks out the door.
Xander and Cordy’s secret romance is out of the bag in this episode, when Willow catches them kissing.
Jenny learns that Angel just needs one moment of pleasure in order for his soul to be returned. The rest of the gang learn about Jenny’s secret, and Giles takes Buffy’s side against her.
Oz is a real gentleman in this episode, turning Willow down when she is just trying to get even with Xander.
We get a glimpse of Angel and Dru’s past in this episode, when Angel says, “Nobody knows me like you Dru.”
There is a sweet mother-daughter scene in this episode, between Buffy and Joyce.

EPISODE 24 – Bad Eggs

Cordy and Xander’s relationships heats up in this episode, despite the fact that he doesn’t want to hear her and she doesn’t want to see him. A match made in heaven 
There was a funny moment in this with teen-speak from Buffy when Giles asked about whether she found the Gorge Brothers:
Buffy: No Go
Giles: No you didn’t go, or you were unsuccessful?
Angel & Buffy’s relationship takes a passionate turn. Angel admits that he can’t have kids. Buffy’s response: “Angel, when I look into the future all I see is you, all I want is you…”
We see a 2nd meeting between Giles and Joyce. I think even then they had good chemistry!
