A Gibraltarian
I live in Gibraltar, a British territory. Although I was born after the war, in 1945, I have been hearing war-stories from my parents all my life. My mother was evacuated to London during WWII but my father had to remain in Gibraltar, as did all the male civilian population. Only women and children were evacuated.
