My poor children are devastated. Mollie has been really ill recently, so this couldn't have come at a worse time.
Poor old Rosie. *sigh*

Aspen, Colorado
Posted Feb 5, 2008
Hi
I'm off on holiday for two weeks - I'm going ski-ing in Aspen Colorado, and then on to Copper Mountain, which is near Denver.
We're meeting an old friend and her husband there, one of the original h2g2 artists, who is now living in Sydney, Australia.
The USA is halfway between us, so the only really practical way to meet up and go ski-ing together.
Anyway, I'm not around for just over 2 weeks, so if anything happens, don't blame it on me!

Cartoons to aid autistic children

This is interesting - Cartoons to aid autistic children; A project that has helped a small group of autistic children understand more about human emotions is being launched nationwide.
The project uses cartoons narrated by the actor Stephen Fry to help teach the youngsters about facial expressions.
My gorgeous daughter has all sorts of medical, learning & physical difficulties related to her brain - which is why I'm interested in all this sort of thing.
I also came across this when reading the other article, which says that autistic children don't daydream! I'd never heard that said before, I wonder if it's true? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4751075.stm
