We were married in 1990. Things went pear-shaped around five years later, since then we've just been sharing the house.

You could say our relationship just died of neglect. There was never much real communication between us either. When you stop talking about the things that matter, it's only a question of time before everything else ceases to matter as well.

See our problem would be that we never really even talk, and just about the important things, but about anything!! His idea of spending time together, would be watching the TV together!!

Michelle, everything depends on the company you're with. With the right person watching tv all night could be lovely.

Well yes it could sometimes, but not day in and day out!!! We really barely even say two words to each other!!!! and if you haven't all ready figured out by how much I am on here, I like to talk!!!!!!!

I guessed! What about hobbies in the evenings? What does he like to do? Is there nothing you could do together, a club of some sort to join together perhaps?
Here's me trying to help you communicate with your (ex)-partner, when I haven't been able to communicate with mine in years! There's hypocrassy for you!

Well we are two totally different people, I usually go out with my friends and he watches sports, the history channel or he reads!! We really don't have a lot of the same interest, I am much more social than he is and he would much rather stay at home, and it drives me crazy to sit still for too long of a period of time. I usually can't even sit still long enough to watch a movie, always have to be doing something!!
What about you?? Nothing you enjoy doing together??

Oh Harley loves Barney, well if Barney doesn't mind a little slobber on him, and maybe if he doesn't care about missing his tail!!

Barney is actually very sociable. He's started to bring Betty, his girlfriend around at night for her supper! And the other evening five of his mates called for him, they were all miawing at the back door!
