Freshers week kicks off on Monday. Another year.
S and I went to see The Beaux Stratagem at the Belmont on Thursday.
We visited a solar'd to the eyeballs house out in the country today.
I am still in A while S is in K. I'll still be here for the winter break and beyond.
Miah doesn't mind. She has not taken to K.
I'm sitting listening to Yo Yo.
I have a cold coming on. I probably picked up an infection from Peet on Thursday.

Traveller in Time missing Peet on these forums
"Well I guess he left to spend more time on the mustardland boards. Must still have an account overthere . . .
How is Peet? Last I read was he went to hospital and did not have internet connection.
And any idea where Dagesh went? Both were regular Journal posters on this site. "

Peet has been in hospital since last November. He had his left let off and has has angioplasty on his right one. He has had lots of infections and is of course on dialysis. The big delaying factor in re his discharge was that his flat was completely unsuitable for him to return to and he has only in the last fortnight been allocated something else - if all went according to plan, he would have been shifted out of hospital and into a half-way house yesterday or today. He will be there pending adaptations to the new place. He has a loaner electric wheelchair. His non diary-keeping is due to password issues, internet access issues and intermittent tech problems. For a recent - this Thursday - pic, scroll down http://www.paranormal.org.uk/mustardland/viewtopic.php?t=63827&start=80
Dagesh has discontinued his h2g2 journal. He also left Peet's Mustardland site. He kept a Wordpress blog for a few days and also has an episodic presence on YouTube and FaceBook. He has of late had some recent toe in the water posts in Peet's but does not seem minded to engage with such responses as he receives.
My own journal is pretty much moribund - it was too much an exercise in repetition. The same is true of the others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTKCKBu8CLI

Traveller in Time on the info page
"Good to hear Peet is recovering Never been there but have some idea of his previous home as per his Journals.
Good to hear Deep Doo Doo is too , actually never posted with them, just miss the daily Journal and seeing you online had to ask
, your Journals are the most cryptic I have ever seen . Reading only one they seem nothing but one side of a conversation. Having read many I most often manage to grasp part of the stories.
How about this seemingly code with which you sign ?"

I used to sign off with my name but that developed into short random stabs at the keyboard. I used to write fully-articulated journals but ended up stripping back and back. I kept a daily journal from 2003-ish until a few years back but life - things - sucked the zest out of me. My occasional posts these days are a sort of ancestor worship.
I have just watched True Detective series 1 episode 1. A character in it says "... I'd consider myself a realist, alright? But in philosophical terms I'm what's called a pessimist... I think human consciousness is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware. Nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself - we are creatures that should not exist by natural law... We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self, that accretion of sensory experience and feelings, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody, when in fact everybody's nobody... I think the honorable thing for our species to do is to deny our programming. Stop reproducing, walk hand in hand into extinction - one last midnight, brothers and sisters opting out of a raw deal." That's pure Lovecraftean theology. I have always half-believed that myself, but if you show me a funny kitten meme I'll go awwwww...

Traveller in Time after watching a video with white squares and ancient film clips
" that is more or less as I expected. Could not really find any code but the remainder of a 'Drugless Brain' signature. (seemingly also an anagram like derivation of your RL name)
Sorry your glass is half full, compare it with empty and it is half full . (Your self aware doubts remind me of some Ask conversations lately < F19585?thread=8314396&latest=1 >
Anyways I follow nearly every posting on this site, the fact that that is possible at all is depressing by itself . I try to read anything here with a smile, and I will not post if my message does not give me a smile .
Statistically we will see another Journal by you in a month (or two).
I just made another today, still has to become visible however. "

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
