Dear Katherine,
I am now writing this with Microsoft WORD so that I can be sure that I will not lose it if I press a wrong key, and, a big plus, I can spell check it too!
Thank you again for helping out with my request. It is of great importance to my research that I contact “Janemark” to discuss his “close encounter of the third kind” you could say!
It is a pity that I can not post my Bader Enigma to the site, but if you have had a look at it you will agree that it is a little complex for the WW2 platform.
It is going exceptionally well and my helper in Belgium and I are getting responses, encouragement and input from the most incredible sources including ex World War II Luftwaffe fighter pilots and ex PoW’s from the various German Stalags.
The Liverpool ECHO newspaper recently published a 28-page supplement on Liverpool and it’s terrible bombing during May 1941. They approached me and asked to do a page on my story of the Adelphi Hotel being hit by a landmine. I have also been asked if I would be interviewed by ‘phone early next year for a sound archive programme on the Blitz – I said of course, as long as I don’t have to pay the ‘phone bill for a hook-up England to Australia!
The Liverpool ECHO now advise me that they will be doing an investigative story on my Bader Enigma, as it originated in Liverpool, so I am hoping that it will lead to some new and exciting developments. I have also been in touch with the BBC’s Tim Sebastian but don’t know that my story will be within his scope – I will wait and see.
I pop in to have a look at the site now and then and see that you are getting lots of stories and many of the same problems seem to still be surfacing but it will get better with time.
I believe that you may be keeping my stories in “limbo” as I requested many moons ago – if you wish I now have no problems should you decide to use them again as part of the site.
In conclusion I have had some contact with Mark E and Lady friend from New Zealand and have made a tentative date for them to come and have lunch with us when they soon arrive in Australia.
Well that’s where I am at right now, very busy and loving every minute of it!
Best Wishes to all at the “Beeb”
Ken

Dear Ken,
Thanks for your news, it sounds as if you are in demand - delighted to hear it! I'm glad that all the research and work that you have done have paid off.
I have mailed janemark with your details - I hope they get in touch, sounds as if they could provide some interesting insight. Let us know how you get on. Perhaps you could also leave a messsage for them on their Personal Page.
I hope you and Mark get to meet up - please pass on best wishes from the History Team.
best wishes, Ken.

Hello Katherine,
Thanks for your help on this matter with the Janemark post.
I left a comment to his post and asked that he get in touch with me via my web-site but, so far no response. I think it could be a one off visit and just hope that he will be in touch now that you have mentioned I am anxious to talk with him.
Will let you know if anything comes of it.
Best wishes
Ken
