Canadian, eh? We went to Canada a couple of years ago. My wife has an elderly aunt and uncle who live just outside Toronto (Scarborough) and we went for a lovely holiday on Manitoulin Island.
Do you know any of these places?

Hello Vestie!
I know where Scarborough is, but i've never heard of Manitoulin Island. It sonds stupid not to know something thats in your country but if yu want my opinion canada is just too big to know every little place. I've never been off the West coast either. I was born here and have lived on the western side of canada all my life.
I'd asl you about the country you live in but i dont even know what country that is.

Manitoulin is the largest fresh water Island in the world. It is at the north end of lake Huron and there you find, among many other lovely things, Wikwemikong where there is a huge annual Pow wow. Wikwemikong was the only piece of land held by any native North American that has never been taken over by white settlers.
I'm from England. I live just west of London near to Heathrow Airport (London's main airport).

i've never been to england. i'd like to one day though. i'd like to go to egypt too. i want to see the pyramids and stuff... but i'm not sure i could handle all the really scary bugs... do you know if scarab beatles are really common, or do they even still exist?

I thought Manitoulin was lovely. Nothing very exciting there but the lakes is beautiful and so is the scenery and the people were really friendly.
I'm not sure about scarab beetles. Are you talking about the ones in the Mummy films? I don't think there are any quite like that!

i'm glad you enjoyed your time there.
well i'm not exactly talking about the ones i movies.... i dont think thay're totally like that... i do know however that they burrow in to your skin and then make a nest and hatch little babies and they eat you form the inside. but i dont think its like you can see them crawling around in your skin, and i dont think they carwl all that fast. i think they can probably be removed my amputation, maybe only a little opperation. after all you can take out your appendix and that leaves only a little scar. but i would think you have to get it early enough... but i dnt think that wold be a problem, i think i'd notice it if there was a big bug nesting inside me. but now i'm starting to think, if they got in in the wrong spot or when they starty to eat wont you die from internal bleeding? i wonder if they live as long and are as industructable as teh movies show...
